This term I have been enjoying meeting new families for Prep 2025 and Jackie and Carmel
are meeting with our existing families who have children starting next year. As I shared at
our P & F meeting last night via my Principal Report, the key reasons families are choosing
SJV include:
- The community feel at SJV
- The engagement of teachers and students on Principal Tours
- The sense of calm, welcome and happiness on Principal Tours
- The extensive extra-curricular activities
- A Catholic Education
- Our reputation
This feedback is a credit to all members of our community because we all play a significant
role in making SJV the school it is. One of the lovely comments I hear frequently is that
families see our students out and about .. in our neighbourhoods, at the park or shops, and
that they are beautiful and respectful children. It is important to acknowledge this about
our children as it takes the valued partnership between home and school to work together
successfully.
